Q: How long have you been breeding?A: We've been breeding shih tzu's for about 2.5 years.
Q: What are the special traits of this breed?
A: Well this breed is just special all the way around. They are not typically yippy dogs like one might think. They have hair, not fur. So their hair grows long and requires frequent grooming. However, because they don't have fur, they are considered a hypoallergenic dog. Shih Tzu's have great fun, playful and loving personalities. They love your attention but they are also content just lounging around being spoiled.
Q: Where are your puppies raised?
A: Our puppies are raised in our home. They are born in our bedroom and get plenty of socialization from our children and other dogs.
Q: Tell us about your breeding goals.
A: Our goal in breeding shih tzu is to produce a high quality dog, pet or show. We want to better the breed. We want to provide loving homes and families with the greatest pet you'll ever know and love. Our goal is to produce gorgeous shih tzu puppies according to the AKC and APRI standards.
Q: What other dog breeds have you bred?
A: We have not bred any other breeds at this time. Shih Tzu only.
Q: What are the best match owners for this breed?
A: This breed can be great for just about any age range. They are great with kids and they are sturdy dogs although they are small. They are also great for an older person looking for a great little companion. They do require love and attention so if you have a very busy work and/or family schedule where people are rarely home, this is not the pet for you. These dogs simply live for you love and attention. They also enjoy having a playmate, a lot of tzu's do better in homes where there's another dog.
