Q: How long have you been breeding?A: We started our kennel in January, 2007. We have had Springers since the early 1970s.
Q: What are the special traits of this breed?
A: They make wonderful family dogs but are also excellent hunting companions.
Q: Where are your puppies raised?
A: We are located in East Texas and our dogs actually have a wonderful kennel with their needs considered in it's construction.
Q: Tell us about your breeding goals.
A: We primarily breed for good family dogs. George, our male, is our inspiration. We feel every family that wants a good family dog would want a dog just like our George.
Q: What other dog breeds have you bred?
A: None
Q: Have the parents of your puppies both been tested free of genetic defects?
A: All of our dogs are tested and treated by our Vet on a regular basis.
Q: What are the health issues that might appear in this breed?
A: We understand their are health issues that can appear in the ESS breed with their joints & eyes--we have not had any indication of any problems in any of our dogs.
Q: What are the best match owners for this breed?
A: Families--families that want a good house dog; willing to give lots of love and attention; willing to see that there is time for exercise; care in providing a home and provisions to insure safety and security for our puppies.
Q: Tell us about success stories your dogs had in the show ring.
A: We do not breed for show, however, our dogs could be trained and directed in that direction.
Q: Any tips or advice for a new owner?
A: I always supply a new owner newsletter to all new owners that shares any information that we have on the puppies and our experience in the hopes that it will help them to be informed.
