Early socialization and exposure to as many new people, animals, and situations as possible are very important in developing good characters in rottweilers. They also need mental stimulation, if not they may show behavioral problems such as chewing, barking for attention, and eating less.

This early socialization and training is also important to prevent negative traits on which the dogs become dangerous and unpredictable.
